A New Look at Vintage!

Great news from Vintage Home.......The great gals at Vintage Home have expanded with more space and naturally more wonderful inventory. Everyone has introduced new pieces with Spring in mind!!! So, stop in to visit us and see all that's happening.

I have a new space toward the front of the store filled with accessories, garden items and furniture. But it's changing every week, so head on in! Margie and Leslie always have the best of urban country and cottage and Christine offers fabulous vintage inspired accessories and one of a kind clothing.

Pictured above is a primitive cupboard in the shop. I added charming "burlap" panels to the front with upholstery tacks. It's so precious. A perfect piece to store plates and dishes in a kitchen, or in a master bath with towels tucked inside. Endless possibilities.
Don't forget you can find me at Creekside Antiques in Downingtown too!
See you all soon.......Elizabeth

Better Late Than Never!

I'm just now getting to a blog posting of our Vintage Tent Event in October! I'm a little behind, and I realize it's November, but I still would like to highlight a few photos that my friend Kirsten graciously took. I was so delighted with the event overall. The BEST weather, creative vendors and tons of folks came out and enjoyed the festivities. Thanks everyone for your support.

The Holidays are in full force at both Vintage Home and Creekside Antiques. Stop in to see all the handmade Christmas items for sale. Wishing everyone a Blessed Thanksgiving Holiday. We all have much to be "thankful" for! I'm thankful I'm not hosting dinner, but enjoying it at my cousin's house!!!

A "Behind The Scenes" Look.......

We are busy getting ready for the Vintage Market Place Event October 8th & 9th!
So, we wanted to share with you some more "behind the scenes" photos of some of our treasures.

We are all painting, sanding, sewing, gathering, and re-purposing for all of you folks that love "vintage". We are delighted that we will be open for business for two days this fall season, 10/8 & 10/9. We are hoping to encourage us "Mom's" to stop over Friday, 10/8, to shop while our kids are in school! Saturday, we will have live music from 9-1, and for those of you attending Saturday afternoon, there will be a drawing for a FREE Interior Design Consultation with Elizabeth Atlee (me)! Be sure to sign our guest book to be eligable.

Great news, the Daily Local News is writing an article in the Business Section this week on our upcoming event!

So pray for great weather, otherwise the event gets moved to the following weekend. See you all soon......Elizabeth

I am presenting a new, more casual line of vintage finds called "No. 3" at a space I've acquired at Creekside Antiques in Downingtown. You'll find us just at the corner of Manor Ave. & Route 30. The space is aglow with pretty lighting, shades of cream and white, with some texture thrown in. I'd love to get your feedback after the visit! Happy hunting!

Good Samaritan Fair Days

We had perfect weather for the Good Samaritan Fair Days in Paoli. Our booth was beautifully situated under a tall oak tree that offered us great shade. My talented friend, Kirsten Leigh, stopped by to shoot some great shots of my "vignettes" of vintage finds. The folks walking around gave us some great compliments on our booth staging, which was so encouraging!
I'm getting ready to re-stage my space at Vintage Home with new treasures, so stop in for a visit!

Tent Sale!

Wow..."Tent Sale" has a whole new meaning to me now! With back to back tent sales, one at my favorite shop, "Vintage Home" and one of my own, I'm pooped! I loved every minute of it, though! I hadn't realized how much stuff I had collected till I started displaying it over the lawn and throughout the tents! More than any other element of design, I love "staging," and it was a delight setting out all of the findings I have been storing for months. It was a blast watching folks exploring the different vignettes set up all over the lawn as they searched for an unusual item to take home. We enjoyed "Grace's Market" filled with homemade treats to offer the crowd.
I'm already planning my next Tent Sale for the fall, so I'll keep you all posted on the date...Thanks to all of my friends who were so supportive and spread the word.

A Lovely Day

Just wanted to share some wonderful pictures from my Tent Sale!

Findings at Vignettes!

I just staged the store recently with some beautiful and elegant furniture, accessories, original art and shabby findings! I'm thrilled to host an antique 1930s mahogany tilt top table that would be amazing in a center hall or large foyer. I'm delighted to have some great vintage mirrors with gilded frames on display, as well as a set of fun, pink Limoges plates--just perfect for Summer entertaining. There are many more treasures to explore. Stop by!

Things change every week at Vignettes!

Hi friends, I can honestly say I am having the time of my life staging my new space in Vintage Home. Thank you to everyone that has been able to stop by and visit. I so appreciate everyone's support.

Aren't these cube "doorstops" adorable? They are made out of mostly vintage fabric and they make a great gift. I am constantly bringing in new pillows also. You know us gals, we LOVE pillows. My husband finally got used to the amount of pillows on our bed.

For those of you looking for a great find.....this weekend, 10/9-10/10, Vintage Home is hosting a "Tent Sale" on Friday/Saturday. Lot's of great items under tents in their parking lot. Stop by!
